I could see Ron doing all of the trench run scenes in this style. Would it be cool to see these on the wall in the order they happened; kind of like a diorama timeline of the Trench battle.

Hey Shawn, once I built all the dio's for the local Con early June I will be doing an order to get 1/72 fighters so I can do them this way and so I can hang them in my room.

I like the concept of this diorama! Great!

Hi All,

This is a commission for a mate and he wanted Fett having his weapons drawn hunting down an Imperial spy on Tatooine. Fett is being accompanied by a Sandtrooper to make sure there is no disintegration as the Empire wants to interigate him.

Figures - are both from Bandai and have had their joints covered and both have been painted and weathered using Vallejo, Army painter paints and pastel chalks.

Base - is high density foam and the structure is built using foam board and plastic card. The pipes are plumpers PVC pipe connections and the rusted canisters are empty asthma bottles.

The sand is a mix of spakfilla and sand and then applied to the base and the painted with Vallejo's Iraqui Sand and the dio was painted and weathered using Vallejo, Army painter paints and pastel chalks.

Hi All,

Mimban Stormtrooper 1:12 scale, from the Solo movie.

Recipe

Trooper - is from Hasbro and has his joints glued and covered using putty and was repained using Vallejo and Army Painter paints. I added the extra helmet armour above the brow using plastic card. The cape/hood is a dried out baby wipe which has been painted and then cut and glued in place.

The mud on the trooper was done by mixing brown pastel chalks/brown paint and Woodland Scenics Relaistic water and then I applied it the figure.

Base is a Bandai plastic figure base with balsa wood edging and the ground work is a mix of sand/dirt/paint and Woodland Scenics Realistic Water and once mix was applied to the base.

The dead tree trunk I got from the garden and the plants are from JOEFIX Studios and the small grass tufts are from Army Painter. The moss is Woodland Scenics Olive green bushes which I have pulled apart and mixed with Woodland Scenics Realistic water and then applied it to the base.

Once everything was dry I then went over the ground again with the Realistic water to give it a more muddy look.
