Customs of a remake....
« on: May 07, 2015, 03:07:35 AM »
Hi guys, I'm new here,
I'm intending to remake the prequel trilogy using custom action figures to changes the character design, actors (in some cases) plot, and also retcon a few things....
Obviously some things will remain the same....
please feel free to throw in your two cents, I see this as an ongoing project and hope to do all three movies, starting with the Phantom Menace and keeping all three original titles.....tpm, aotc, rots etc.......
Below is my interpretation of Anakin Skywalker, played by tom hardy and already a very sophisticated jedi in his mid 30's.....(Sebastian Shaw was a man in his sixties so that follows....)
the films centre around him and focus on his GRADUAL transformation into vader....

Very cool.  I had always in visioned the prequels differently than what was presented. Anakin should be about 10 years older and look different and have a different demeanor. Great work hope to see more.

Is that an Acid Rain figure under that?  It's kinda small image, so it's hard to tell.

Welcome to ISY!

I would love to front page your custom post, but the image is too small for me to use. Anyway to make that bigger? Don't forget you can use a free photo hosting site (like www.photobucket.com) and post the [img] code directly into your typed post. If that attachment option is not working well for you.

I've added a better pic along with a couple more...some Jedi.
As you can see some of them are pretty old, I kinda see the Jedi order as an aging organization, the Jedi in the brown trench coat is Ben Starkiller, and the other younger man is Obi Wan.

My lord, those acid rain bucks are great for Jedis, too bad they cost so much.

Nice job indeed.

Thanks, I hope to use the acid rain bodies on the more action packed characters...maybe some gi Joes also as some of the newer figures are very poseable....

I hope to cast all the main characters in my new vision of phantom menace and even make the classic "background" characters that Lucas puts in purely to sell toys lol...
Also, id anyone else has any thoughts let men know, its gona be a fun...and long project ????

Whoa!  That's impressive.  I like the more widened and hardened look of each of them.  You are correct that Anakin should have been in his mid 30's.

Wow, I didn't know those acid rain figures were that well articulated.

Damn, I may need to pick 1 or 2 up just to see what I could do with them.

Wow, larger pictures. Your customs look awesome. Those Acid Rain figures look great as far as a SW Application. Thank you for getting some better pictures for me. Your first post is on the front page.
