The local Walmart came through BIG TIME with the Octuparra Droids today - I grabbed mine at lunch. ($36.75 with tax)

This is a GREAT toy! You get your money's worth! (well, almost)

Oh, what a dreadful thought!

I still have:

1) Y-Wing
2) TRU Exclusive Imperial V-Wing
3) CW 2-packs Wave 2

on my list, all of which are hitting retail outlets around the country! Hopefully here any day! By those time those arrive we'll be ready for the next wave of battle packs and figs, and so on, etc.

There's always the "next" coolest thing ever!

Y-Wing and Imperial V-Wing: I'm coming for you...

I found both of the Wave 2 CW 2-packs at lunch. Walmart had just put them out on the shelves today. (6 each)

I was super psyched, til I got back to the office and found out I am being laid off in 60 days.  :-[

Not even new toys will dull that pain.

Nope, no new BP sightings...I swung by a Target on the way home just for kicks.

The job thing will work itelf out, it's just scary in this economy right now...contracting is nerve wracking to begin with, but now it's beyond stressful on the nerves.

What a great way to end the week, with my new TRU Exclusive Imperial V-Wing fighter!!!

They were hot off the truck this morning, only 5 in stock. I had my choice and got the mintiest box I could find.

That looks to be about the only new thing they got, just as well too...I am about out of discretionary income til next week. Heck, even if I found that darn Y-Wing right now, I'd have to wait til I got paid again to actually pick it up.

I think I'll go ahead and pick up the Rumsleg I hid last night after work and call it a weekend.

Wow - what a great feeling!

Ugh, 2 tauntalizing near-misses last night...they still haunt me.

For the first time, I actually found a couple of TPM wave figs at a Target! Previously these had only been out at Walmarts around here. OF COURSE they did not have the 1 figure I wanted, Rumsleg, but that is hardly surprising as he is destined to become my Great White Whale. (Going on record that this will be one of the hardest figures to find ANYWHERE this year)

But what really killed me is I FINALLY found the Y-Wing at a local Walmart, but the &$!@* box was damaged! It was simply NOT acceptable. AND OF COURSE it was the only one they had on the shelf. Grrr.

Back to the drawing board today.

What a great way to end a dreary dry spell - with a new Y-Wing!

TRU had one on the shelf and I wasted no time locking this sucker down. I even got my free Clone Trooper manual as a bonus.

Came to something like $73 after tax...ouch. Good thing I just got paid!

I guess I can finally relax...I now have every last shred of CW stuff that has hit retail.

Those new BP's and the next fig wave are going to hit anytime though, I just know... :)

Paris Baroness, the yuzon vong comic pack, darth krayt comic pack, that weird bounty hunter with the flames BAD part, rex "the doctor" lewis, well, really thats about it, lol.

The local Target I recently hazed for lack of new stock just got the new TPM wave out on the pegs today. I got there in time to score my long awaited, much anticipated Rumsleg. This bad boy is coming out of the box too.

I literally have nothing left to look for, until the new CW figs start to arrive. I'm not holding my breath on that....

This has the makings of a baaad day.

None of the local TRU's got the new Gunship.

None of the Targets or Walmarts I hit at lunch had the new CW figs.

NO sign of the new deluxe vehicle/fig packs or the BP's.

I'm knocking off work early to go all out in full Hunt mode. I just gotta score something new today to psyche up for the premier tonight.

I have at least 25 stores on the itinerary...someone has GOT to have something out there. Right?  ???

I love making myself look like a chump.

So I blow out of work 2 and a half hours early to start my epic Hunt for new CW swag, and wouldn't you know it the first store I hit, 5 minutes from my office, had all 4 new CW figs. (Wave 9) So I'm like "What do I do now?"

So I just decided to come on back to work for a little while before heading out for a casual look-see for some new BP's and deluxe vehicle/fig packs. The sense of urgency is pretty much gone for now.

Now if anyone spots Wave 10 out there...(EE and ToyRocket have them now!)
