Legacy Evolutions Rebel Pilots Series II
« on: August 16, 2009, 05:34:25 PM »
Picked this one up at Walmart. Normal price $21 but on clearance if you can find it for $9.99.
Man it sure is great to be able to pick up some obscure rebel pilots when you want to and this set is just the trick to fill up your hanger bay or Mon Calimari briefing rooms.

this set comes with three pilots. Two from the OTC and one EU pilot.

From X-Wing Rogue Squadron, we have Cesi "Doc" Eirriss
From the battle of Hoth, we have snowspeeder pilot, Kesin Ommis
From the battle of Endor, we have Keyan Farlander

All three pilots are super arty and come with a blaster and a removable helmet and all share great detail.

Being from Ryloth, Cesi Eirriss is the only non-human pilot in this set. Her head-specific helmet is cool and looks great on her. Cesi is the only one of the three to have a holster on her belt for stowage of her blaster.

Kisin Ommis has a great head sculpt and his helmet has some nice paint apps

Keyan Farlander has to be a b-wing pilot and has that clunky looking b-wing pilot helmet but when removed, he also has a great head sculpt. That air hose from his chest box to his belt is removable.

this is a great set, folks, and I can just imagine the custom or diorama uses that it has.
If you havent picked one of these up yet, and you like pilots, you had better snag one up before they are gone.

I've seen a few of those, but didn't think on getting them because of the price.  Seeing that it's down, I might try and find one.

clint bit more info for ya

"doc" erriss  sacrificed herself when her x-wing became critically damaged during a mission to bring R2 units to yavin4 she rammed a squadron of ties to buy the others time to escape.

kessin ommis was derek"hobbie" klivian's gunner during the battle of hoth he survived but was wounded.

keyan farlander flew a B-wing during the battle of endor ,he went on to become a general during the yuzzhan vong war he was also force sensitive and nearly fell to the dark side and swore never to use the force again ,also he flew the lone surviving Y-wing during the battle of yavin.

Hmm....should I buy this for just one Battle of Hoth figure? If I see it and am financially friendly I might. Nice review.

Clint if you see one of these for a ten dollar price and is fairly moc I sure would appreciate an assist if you are out and about. My Wally worlds don't carry em anymore.

I need a set - particularly the Twi'lek pilot.  Clint - if you can score only one at that $10 price, I'll gladly share out the Snowspeeder gunner with Tamer - unless Tamer needs the whole set, so as to leave it unopened!  ;D

Yepper, I am afraid I would want the whole unopened set. Don't worry about it if its too hairy Clint. No biggy.
