Making double bladed lightsabers?

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you had tips on making double bladed lightsabers. (From 3 3/4 figures) Videos would be great too! I've been collecting for a few years now, I think it might be fun to try customizing.

It's really simple just cut the bottom of the hilts flat and then superglue together.

You need to reinforce the spot where the hilts will meet up, I heat up a straightnd staple and push it into the handles.

I'm currently working on the exact same project, also because lots and lots of loose lightsabers can be found on eBay for as low as 40 cents each!

I agree with TomO, I also use some wire to reinforce the connection of two single blades:
