Starkiller really looks good. I do think the extra work, especially the leather work really enhances the figure.

Starkiller is one of my favorite non-main SW character.  Great job!

Great detailing and I like the magnets in the shoulder armor. I've made articulated armor with rubber and flexible Loctite cement, but this seems a lot less messy.
That's not real leather, is it?  Please tell how you did it.

Yep, it's real leather.  I had asked my wife to go to the hobby and crafts store and pick me up something that was thin and leather like, but not leather.  She found this leather that looked perfect for the figure, but it was a lot of leather and not as cheap.  I told her I wanted something thin, and it wasn't thin, but she insisted that real leather would add to the look of the figure.

Since it was thick, I had to look up how to thin leather.  I thinned it, and it turned out great.

Starkiller is tremendous. Using magnets for the shoulder armor is great and the texture of the skirt piece is terrific. Beautiful custom!
I dabble in the Star Wars Universe of Toys... I rip apart little plastic people and turn them into other plastic people. Sometimes I take pictures of them and post them.

Here goes my next WiP.  It's in it's VERYYYYYY early stages, so it doesn't look like much.  My aim is to make a Del Moomo that is very inspired by Sith_Fire30's Del Moomo....ie, I'm copying his work :)

Anyway, like I said, very early stages, so not much to show.  I took an old hammerhead figure, cut off his head, hands and feet and attached it to a marvel figure (for the extra height).  I sculpted the lower leg boot portion (but still need to add the laces to one of them).
This one is going to take a lot of sculpt work, I hope I didn't bite off more than I can chew.

I hope you guys don't tire from seeing yet another Mandalorian.  And yes, I will be making even more.
Anyway, here goes my latest Mandalorian.  Same deal as usual, I started with a base GI Joe figure, some sculpting, acrylic paints, and weathering to get the typical Mandalorian battle worn look.  Under the helmet is an Alpha Blanx head, and I slice down his eye to give him a scar (hard to see in the images).
This is the first time I used a metallic gold on a mandalorian.  I know in the images it looks yellow, but it is gold.
I hope you all enjoy.

You can make all the Mandalorians you'd like, and I'll never tire of seeing them. Love the color scheme on this one, never would have thought the more military green would look cool with gold, though is it plain gold? Looks a bit darker than typical gold paints, but definitely enhances the look, and what body did you use as a base?
