Another question, not sure if this is the right forum or if I should pose this question in another section.

I'm trying to create my version of a storm trooper, and wow....painting whites suck.  Heck, my white doesn't even match my storm trooper's white helmet.  My white is crazy white, and the helmet next to it makes the white look so bright, with the helmet not as white.
Is there a particular white that's best to use to try and match that kind of trooper white?  What's the best method to paint whites?  Should I spray paint that sucker and then go in and just hand paint all the non-whites?

Until I find a good white paint...I might switch it up and go grey and black for my trooper, instead of white and black.

Ok, so this one was originally supposed to be a mandalorian, inspired by a madalorian I saw that Stonox had.  As I was making him, I decided to switch gears because I also had in the back of my mind to work on a trio of troopers that used to be storm troopers, but were on the run (think the A-Team), so they use whatever gear they could salvage.

I don't have a name for him yet, but I plan on there being 3 of them, along with a mule droid that follows them and carries their gear.

Base body GI joe figure, helmet from old storm trooper figure (using magnet for full range of motion on head), belt is made from styrene and fodder, and last but not least, helmet that's fitted on the storm trooper helmet is from another gi joe figure.  Primed and fully painted, influenced by Stronox.

That's a very cool trooper!
I dabble in the Star Wars Universe of Toys... I rip apart little plastic people and turn them into other plastic people. Sometimes I take pictures of them and post them.

I loved the A Team. I think it is a great idea for the Storm Trooper story line too. Wouldn't that make a great EU Novel, a team like that trying to break away from the Evil Empire, not being trusted by the Rebellion either, just trying to survive in the universe, but constantly getting into new trouble. I would buy it.

On the front pages.

Nice job and the A-Team rules! Now do the rest of the team.
