I know I have seen folks use a lot of Marvel heads on these.

Just what I was going to say. Marvel would be the best bet. Hasbro did make a 6 inch statue line called Epic Force. They are in a box that is clear on 3 sides and they have a stand that you can rotate without opening them. I have all of them unopened. The sculpts were pretty good on those so if you could find loose ones they would be easy to cast their heads.
