How do I explain that the prequels are good?

So my friend is really being ignorant here. He says all prequels are horrible along with all the characters in them and George Lucas is a complete idiot. How can I at least convince him that George isnt what he says he is and that there is some good in the prequels?

Right on the money. Prequels were crap. Clones are the only good thing from them
