They're all so cool, definitely a good mix of styles that I imagine you'd see in a crowd scene, or inhabiting a 'wretched hive of scum and villainy'.
I think my favourite has to been the guy using the bespin luke body, he just screams spaceport worker...

I've just noticed the airship from 'the golden compass' in the background, what are your plans for that?
I managed to grab one last week, and thinking either tourist bus or travelling fast food shop.

You know, I'm not sure.  I bought one online thinking that the balloon sections were actually sculpted plastic, not beach ball type things - the plan was to use it as a start towards the hot air balloons from Tattooine during the pod race (how's that for obscure?), but that obviously won't work.

It's funny that you mention food shop as that was one thing I was thinking of - possibly the SW version of a food truck.

Haven't updated here in too long...  Here is a batch of work created for the current Yakfinities merchants challenge - some merchants and the spacers that visit their bazaar.  I hope you like the photos!  (There are more shots in the Yakfinities thread on Yakface.com as well...)

They all look great! I was looking at that McFarlane 'ToTo' figure on e-bay the other day, wondering what I could do with him.

By the way, where did you get that OT alien head? I don't know his name. He's the Mosep type with the pointy ears.

Thanks for the front page and for the kind words!

Darth Sinister - I want to say the head came from I-Am-Boba-Fett/Riff Valley.  I'll try to track it down, but I believe that's where I got it.  As for toto, he's really cool - I've had him since he originally released and I keep planning on painting him up to look a little more "star-warsy," but I really like how he looks.  One of these days, I'm going to sculpt a better platform on his back for a rider to sit on.

Saw the bazaar over at yakface (where I'm still just an observer) and really loved the Ginny Weasley gun-runner. It took a while, but I finally figured out where the cloak came from - Prince of Persia Dastan. I really like the way you've folded the Power Lords figures into the dio as well. Lots of really cool "background" characters. Great work!
