It's been a long week of fighting with the 3-D printer. If you're thinking of investing in one - just know that when things go wrong, it takes a lot of tinkering to get things figured out.  I easily have wasted $30 in plastic trying to figure out what the problem was. I also now have about 10 nasty prints of Death Star walls. Turned out most of my problem was a bad spool of plastic.

In other news, I've added a new piece to the store. Computer Console #1 will look great in a variety of places, but certainly in chilly climate dioramas.

Talk about fantastic looking. Things like this will get me off my duff and maybe building my Echo Base Dio.

Strange about the site not coming up. I know Facebook gives me a warning when I try to post a link - maybe something related to a virus program? Maybe try to access on a different computer?

Wow, that looks great.

And folks I am happy to report I got my first order in and it was awesome! These things are really sturdy and the level of detail he is able to get with that printer is astounding! I can't wait to see what else shows up in his E-Store!

This secondary Death Star set is for my Falcon shelf - which re-creates Kenobi's death scene. Manually sliding blast doors! Will be working a bit on the reverse side soon. Couldn't have fit this well into the big Death Star playset. Will spraypaint this since the the different pieces seem to have come out different colors.

Ah nice!

Some DeathStar (or SSD) blast doors like these are something that you should sell they'd be greate for imperial dio's. Just thinking out loud hehe

Yeah this one's pretty cool. Can't wait to spray paint it so the color is more uniform. This one I doubt I'll add to the store - as it's very clearly SW and I'm trying to be very respectful of copyright law. But, we'll see.

Right after my kitchen renovation I got my wisdom teeth out, so it's been a few days of bed rest for me. Starting to get back into some 3D printing, but trying to be careful, since I'm still on some pain med. Hoping to finish the door handles for this blast door today, and the 2 side supports.

Hoping to get back to finishing off the big Death Star by the end of this week.

Wow, Chad just got his out too. I know I didn't have much fun getting mine out while I was in the service, but glad to see you are recovering.

The finishing of the Death Star! Can't wait for the final reveal. Such a ton of great work.
