Your cantina and droid posts are very inspiring.  Well done.  You updated some Hasbro figures beautifully.  You made some really cool cantina characters that I'd like to add to our own collection one day.

I have been away for a while so I am finally catching up here. I love the characters you are creating/updating! The Cantina characters look great and I really dig the latest droid update. I would love to hear/see more on how you created the WED droid. Very inspiring work!

Welcome back Sprywalker!!!!  Thank you for the kind words ! Ok where do i begin with this !  Let me say that this figure was a challenge and its been sitting on my work area for months i had made a few attempts but was never satisfied . So before i made this  custom into a complete nightmare i let it sit for months. I would study the parts a lot ant think about how to make it better because the challenge was to make this droid really look beat up . and by the final picture i am very happy with it. The parts are as follows

1- the base is from the droid that came with Aunt Beru. then on top i glued a piece that i had left over on top of the base with three pegs  to mount the top body on.
2- the body is using two B.A.D  R2 unit bodies one cut in half both bodies sanded down  with slots cut into the side for the arms .
3- Arms are from  the Fx-7 Droid   potj  version
4- The head  is made using fishing bobbers i saw them in the store bought two of them . Cut in half sanded down and again i glued together and thats it i have enclosed a few more pictures .  As you can also see i plan on carding the figure  with another big thanks to darthstreams for his awesome work  hope that answers it for you

I have to say that droid is awesome. I don't have all the parts you used, but am planning to fabricate one myself. It may be slightly different, but hey, that is what customizing is all about.

I really enjoyed reading how you put WED together too. Nice parts mix. Off to share. I agree it is gonna look great on that card.

Thanks  for the front page tamer and everybody for the great feed back on wed droid !! As i said in an earlier post this was  a challenge to put together  . i must have attempted this droid at least 3 times  before the final version. it just sat for a while .  i would study the picture and and even at work sketch out ideas on how to make the figure work by that point i was obsessed LOL.  So by the time i built up the energy/time to do it again  everything just fell int place.  I think because of the challenge and now knowing how to put the droid together i just may do another version of the wed droid.  Thanks again everybody  back soon !!
