assembled or disassembled?

When your repaint your figures do you paint it in pieces or when its all put together?

I prefer to paint it when it is all together. In some situations, it is nice to have something out of the way, though. The not quite finished mando lady I am working on, didnt wear her gun holster until after I painted her body for that reason.

I paint my figures disassembled. That way I can properly seal all the swivel joints after sanding them down.

I do a little of both. I do the first couple coats in pieces and the finish coats assembled.

Depends if there is any gear/soft goods that the figure is wearing.
