I've just began collecting Star Wars again after selling the majority of my first collection. I have gained quite a few figures since December and discovered that my collection looked pretty boring with the same old clone figures cluttering it up. I decided, after watching a few Youtube videos, that I should begin to customise the look of my figures. These are the pictures of my first custom figures, which I dry brushed with acrylic paint.  ()rr

Very Good!  He looks like he's been through his share of battles.  I can understand the same-old-same-old look of these clones.  It's one of the reasons why we customize.  Welcome to the Yards.  Hope to see more soon.

Really though, You picked a good place to show your stuff. Dudes here are totally cool and willing to share their knowledge of the craft.

I will impart some words to live by.

They are, "Model Masters Acryl"!

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It is the best paint for painting action figures. It bonds to the plastic better than any other paint I have used. I have tried many and it is the one to use. I'm not saying that I don't use other brands myself, it's just that I do so knowing the limitations of them.
