Continuing with the Rogue One theme, here's another early Rebellion era Alliance fighter.

Thanks for the honor, Tamer!

You are quite welcome, you know we like your work here at ISY! And lots of movement in all your figures too.

You know, I want custom figures which are fully playable.
As much as I love the painted figures, you can pretty much just pose them and put them in the showcase, because all those model paints, even if you clear-coat them afterwards, will rub off sooner or later.
I want to be able to take my figures out of their bags (yes, I don't display them in a cabinet or something), pose them, have them wear their accessories, hold their guns etc. and then I put them back into their bags and store them in plastic bins.

Yes, there are times when I help a figure along with some paint or some super glue, but that's that.
At this point in time in my customizing, I try to use as little paint as possible.

I really like the way this figure turned out - he looks great. I also can't help but agree with your perspective on action figures - open them, pose, them, put them away and take them out another day (or as my son would say - "play with them.")

Thanks, people.
There's another Rebel trooper based on the appearance of Captain Cassian Andor coming up on Saturday.

Today's kitbash:
Sector Ranger (like shown in the old Westend Games Sourcebooks)

And another early Rebellion era Rebel soldier, probably an officer.

Thanks for the honor, Shawn.
Here's today's creation: another Rebel trooper.
A while ago I was fortunate enough to pick up a couple of Cracken figures and this time I mated his torso with Bespin Han's lower body and legs. The head, again, is from the GI Joe range. The helmet is from a POTF Obi Wan figure and fits better than the picture shows.

What a great bunch of kitbashs...the results look really convincing and not as if the parts came from different sources. Tolle Arbeit, beide Daumen hoch! :)
