man that gal looks awesome.  The weathering on that armor is top notch.  Did you find a helmet that fits?  if not oh well, still looks amazing!

I wonder why they havn't done any of the clones with long hair?  with all the varying hair styles you'd think at least one of them would have long hair or a rats tail or something.  can anyone say mullet clone?!? lol

That might be a good hasbro question Spudafett. It would be nice to get some long haired clones as we know they all liked thier individuality.

Nice figure. I too love the weathering on the armor and the weapon she is outfitted with.  I take it the helmet won't squeeze over at all? Either way, excellent custom.

Thanks for the kind words, folks.

The helmet would fit if her hair wasn't sculpted long and open.
We have to envision it like one of those female race card drivers who takes off her helmet, shakes her head violently to let her long hair flow freely again.

PS: I just noted that Agent Gant made it to the front page. I'm honoured. Thank you very much.

Hey - chicks in armor are *almost* as exciting as scantily-clad alien chicks in chains!  ;D

Nice work, in all seriousness.  I just discovered I *have* a "skinny" thanks to having one from my ATTE.  I have alllllll these female heads.....  I think I'm gonna have to follow the Commander's example and test-fit me one onto the other.

I gotta wonder if soft goods hair like Barbie Dolls would look on those type of heads and that would allow for helmet fitting and perhaps be able to be tied up so it wouldn't flow out of the bottom of the helmet. I think someone needs to articulate this question in the hasbro q and a thread and I will ask it next round.

Hi all,

this morning my daughter Magdalena and my son Sean joined my customizing session.
Here are two shots showing them honing their painting skills. Magdalena is ten, Sean is eight years old.

I finished the three characters of the 175th Special Operations Group this morning:

Commander Grim, Sergeant Bass and their embedded Field Agent Jenna Gant.
I tried the head of a Padme in Naboo pilot disguise on her. With a little drilling work and some surgery, it can be made to fit the ball joint of the CW Cody body. Even the helmet fits now...

Commander Grim is a repainted Holographic Commander Cody, Sergeant Bass is a repainted and slightly altered Clone Commander. I cut the kama away from the belt and holsters in wraithnine fashion.

Well done indeed! I am just loving your weathering of these figures and their weapons. Those family custom session shots are cool also.

Very cool indeed, Kurgan!  It's nice that the Family can get together and do something like that!  Makes it so much more fun!

Thanks a lot.
While I'm posting the pics, the kids are still painting.

Here's my other finished project: Mandalorian Walon Vau, one of the one hundred Cuy'val Dar, the Training Sergeants who shaped the Clone Commandos.
Author Karen Traviss describes Vau as wearing black armor so I relied much on inkwash and drybrushing on this figure. It is, in essence, a repaint of the animated Boba Fett with a Jango Fett rocket pack and a custom-made Verpine sniper rifle.
