Nice, I like that second one. I think the bucket work on it with the weather (deep) is great. Off to share.

Personally, I would think the current Dewback would look very good on six inch figure. I think if you stay patient you may even be happy as early as SDCC, but no doubt if they are hinting at making wampas and taun tauns they will make this one eventually too. I have no insider info, but it even makes too much sense even for Hasbro to be irrational about imo.

So I finally got some apoxie sculpt ( 0/ ) and tried my hand at some sculpting. Here are the results:

I think I'm going to clean up the ep2 obiwan head. I can see alot more mistakes  when the photo is blown up

1. On a scale of 1-10 how out of scale do you think the newest dewback looks in relation to six inch figures(10 being it looks perfect and 1 being since when did sand troopers ride babies?)

I tried the 6" sandy riding the newest dewback and it is to big for the dewback. But it got me thinking that the dewback would be a good size to customize to look like a different creature and then it would be perfect.

The other option I was thinking was the 12" Hasbro dewback, height wise it looks good but the length of it might be to long.

I know.  Once you start using Aves, you use it for almost everything.
I also know what you mean about those High Def close ups.  Before you make any tweaks, pick up Obi and have a good look at him, first.  I was going to touch up my Bariss Offee based on some flaws I caught on my images, but when I picked her up I realized how crazy that was.  They're just too small.

Nice work.
You must be using some kind of template to get the texture on the cloth.  Luke's tunic is a bit stark white, but I really like his leggings.

Love the texture on the robes, and the leg wraps do look great as Sjefke said.

Thanks to all of you. To get the texture for the robes I just took the piece I cut off the obiwan robe and gently pressed it on till the texture was imprinted.

Never thought of that. I should give that a try next time I sculpt some robes.

Been off the yards for quite a while so its time for a BIG update!

First up is a 6" scale Jawa! Made from a 3 3/4" Tusken raider in a jedi robe with his face details shaved off.

Next is a 6"  R2-Q5. I have now discovered painting astromechs is the most tedious thing ever. I have  a whole new respect for wraithnine.

And last but not least a 6" Gonk made from some tuperware containers.

On all accounts wow. That's a better rendition of Luke than Hasbro or Kenner have done in years. I want a jaws like that... and all those droids. Excellent paint job on the black and gold astromech, and the gonk droid... is that all from scratch?

I really like that Gonk. Time for a front page update.
