Hi all, I recently saw a great little vid on the ISY Facebook Page which showed LucasCLones showing us how to use Fix It to sculpt figures! Great tutorial that answered a lot of my questions about custom figures! I commented on the FB page as we dont seem to have this product in the UK, but I did find something called MILLIPUT which is fairly cheap and works in the same way! So I bought some and had a go with it today, please bear in mind I consider myself a rank amateur when it comes to figure customising, its a bit to small and fiddly for me and I prefer bigger Dioramas! This is really just to give you an idea of what a novice can do on a first sitting with this stuff! LOL! As it may be of benefit to your UK Members as we dont have your version of Fix It. Enjoy and more importantly give it a go! !  |

This is AWESOME! Here in US we dont get it at stores either we have to get it online cause it is online exclusive. It is 20$ (US Dollars) for a pound. On Aves website it is 12$ shipping. I got mine on Amazon for 2o$ Price and 6 shipping. So if you search the web for the right one you can get a better deal!

Thanks Mando Assasin! I can see Fix It online and could buy it from EBay or Amazon, but the airmail postage makes the price at least double which is the UK's problem!  Hence why I wanted to see if there was a UK version, this works exactly the same way, but comes in smaller amounts, I bought 113.4g for £3.99 with 99p for P&P on EBay. It goes a long way as you only need very little of it, but it has all the same properties as Fix It and comes in various colours. |

I'm UK based and use milliput too,although i'm going to try fix-it and green stuff as soon as i get hold of some and compare the 3..........5 packs of white millliput is about £17 on ebay,£10 per packs in the store by me.
btw great idea on the figure,looks sweet

I also updated our facebook post where you asked about Fixit with a list of UK Suppliers and I also found out that the AVES STUDIO WEBSITE will also ship internationally so you have quite a few options now.

Thanks Tamer! That is very useful info for novices like me and more importantly for the skilled Figure Customisers, especially in the UK where P&P from the USA can be very pricy! Thanks r1ibb1t! But they are nothing on yours! |
