New piece - a design for a Neimoidian chessboard, inspired by a picture a friend of mine did for me, as congratulations for getting a Star Wars character named after me. I fully intend on making this board, as soon as I can scout out a chess set and some art shops in Exeter.

Also, this was just published yesterday. The Daily Dot did an article about me and my Star Wars character (his name is Zill Kartay, and he's a Neimoidian!!!), so I'll leave it here, if anyone's interested in reading it. This has been a very interesting month, with all that's happened :)

Wow, I saw that article in SWI and thought you would have liked all the characters. Little did I know one of em was inspired by your name! That is so cool. Off to share.

I really like the idea and look of this chess board, can't wait to see how it comes together. Also, congrats on the article, that is so cool!

Very nice artwork as always, and these are very clever! "I would love to occupy you", that has to be my favorite. The Lok Durd one is also very nice, made me laugh. Very cool stuff!

Oh my word! I cannot believe how long it has been since I posted here. I promise I have not forgotten ISY or anyone here; I've spent the last four months finishing up university work, which took precedence. As of Friday, I now officially have a Master's Degree in astrophysics :)

I'm just going to do a bulk post of the pictures, which are worth posting, that I've done since then. Granted, there aren't that many. I've been testing out a new outlining style, which I'm happy with; however I'm still experimenting on the colouring.

Since the release of Insider 147, my original "Chibi Neimoidian" picture desperately needed updating. I'm amazed at how many have names now!



A quick "chibi" piece I did for my Tumblr of Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan from TCW. When I reopen my requests/commissions, I will be offering these for $5 each (includes a character of choice, star colour, and background colour and style) :)

I hope this piece is okay for here; I posted it in some stricter places, and they were alright with it. This was my Easter picture; I also did a St. Patrick's Day piece, but it involved a fully naked Neimoidian, covered by a strategically-placed clover leaf, so I'll leave that off ISY, and just keep it on my deviantART.

Wow, wish I had found this yesterday to use for Father's Day! Lovely work and thank you for not posting the nude photo for our younger audience that sometimes frequents here. What can I say other than fantastic. I know I would love to see you do an AT-AT Driver in this style (let me know where to send my five bucks) when you are ready.

Off to share that Father's Day graphic to the front page.

The picture didn't actually reveal anything...but even so, I didn't want to take any chances. I'm not doing any chibis right now, but when I start on them again, I will certainly message you and let you know. :)

I can't remember if I submitted the work in progress, or not, but regardless, I finally finished my Elsamoidian piece, simply so that I wouldn't have to through the entire month of July without finishing or submitting a piece of work :)

(I'm  also now officially a graduate (and unemployed...). I graduated from the University of Exeter on July 18 with my Master's Degree in astrophysics :D)
