Yep, that means that any tc custom with a removable helmet would be a hot item. I may have to finally get around to hollowing one of those helmets out.

the commando appears to be the same mould as all the old ones. i've gotten my hands on that arc trooper, same mould as comic pack blue arc trooper, but new head and helmet. the head is a older looking one, and the helmet's rangefinder can swivel, though that makes it drop out easily too

It does look like the original RC mold but this one is supposed to be super arty.
How you been doing, Jenks?

I plan on only getting one of these  I really only want aged Alpha and Fi, the scout I have no need for too EU. I would like to see them repaint all of Delta and Omega Squad using this new mold however it would be nice if they updated with shoulder joints soon! This would also be nice if they released a basic white Commando.

My guess is that they will release repaints of that RC in a legends format sometime in the future, Fett. I still cant believe that they didnt make his helmet removable.

It's really not that important we all know what's underneath and how to hollow out a helmet right. ;)

the comic pack RC is white with dirty feet, the  back pack from the RC video game which i like better, and an all black version of Scorch's grenade rifle.
a  little expensive now but i have seen them go reasonably both MOC and loose on ebay.  i have 4 loose and 4 MOC. didnt really like the SBD that came with it, but the comic story was worth it .

indeed it does.
i have been pondering making my own SA commando by cutting off the legs at the joints and then drilling and reassembling them using the joints from a standard EPII or EPIII clone which i have in abundance, but am at a loss when it comes to making the feet and ankles work. when looking at the feet side by side, they just dont look the same and that isnt really a big problem, but i wouldnt be totally happy with killing the commando to make a crappy frankenstein clone. and leaving the feet out of the swap  is kind of missing the whole point IMO.
to do it or not???

Y'know... I'm sitting here with one of my Omega Squad fig's in hand, looking for him to this pic and back.

I'm convinced this EVO RC is an effing repaint.

I'm heading to the Hasbro Q&A thread.....

You know you can just swap out the legs from the hip down with all new ones from a Clone with just some minor on the hip joints, but they are a tad narrower then the Commando legs.
