Listen to the molding and casting experts Sith Fire 30 and the Clonehead share their insight on what you need to do to make molds and casts. We greatly thank them for their time and their patience as well. Truly, they are some great ambassadors for our hobby!

If anybody has anything they'd like me to add in, please let me know and update this first post.

Rogue82:
This was posted in the Lucasclones and Tamer start Podcasting Thread, but wasn't fully covered in the podcast so any thoughts guys?

--- Quote from: Luke Sprywalker on May 16, 2012, 07:57:53 AM ---I know you will be covering the step by step process start to finish. So I would like to hear what specific products each guest uses for their mold, then for the part they are casting. What is the best way to cast clear parts and avoid air bubbles throughout the piece. Are there resins available that are more flexable for casting robes, helmets and such? I got some awesome clear bits from Doc Outlands and the sprue that held them together was quite flexable.

--- End quote ---

Tamer:
Wow, this is organized great. Thank you!

Rogue82:
This has been my favorite roundtable so far with so much great information in it. I'm hoping for a casting roundtable 2.

My question for the caster's is:

Are there any specific resins that cure slightly flexible, and ideally transparent, like an X-Wing pilots helmet?
