That mando is awesome. But the paint apps on the clone are wonderful. You have really improved.

Thank you Mando Assassin, just saw your post. Haven't been back on my own custom thread in awhile.

Posted this in the Custom Contest page but I'll post my custom Rako Hardeen figure here as well.

I used the Space Obi Wan Kenobi figure for the base and then used a Quinlan Vos head after removing the hair. The Helmet was made from a cast of Pre Vizsla's helmet that I made a really long time ago that didn't turn out so great.

Hey all,

It's been a really long time since I've posted anything on my thread. I've been working on couple customs during that time, but just didn't have the time to post with school and work.

I'm on summer break for a few weeks before I have to head back to return to my studies. Since I've got more time, I decided to update you all with some of my projects. There are a bunch of photos so hope you all don't get overwhelmed.

To start it off, here is an unfinished TCW Style RC Gregor. (Over the past two or three years, I've been trying to sculpt a TCW RC figure on a normal TCW clone trooper. This is the first time that I liked the sculpt that I came up with and painted it up.
The helmet was casted from shipyard member CloneHead (excellent casts). There are some minor differences with the actual  TCW concept mainly with the knee, leg, and bicep area armor. Still need to come up with a way to create the backpack and paint his hair brown.

Next up is Sergeant Hound
The helmet is also from CloneHead
Paintwork could have been better (but considering that most of the figures that I use are failed custom painted figures of mine from the past) I think I'm cleaned them up pretty well.

I realized that the red stripes that are on the bicep area are actually grey so I might go back and redo them (not sure)
Still need to add the antenna to the left arm and onto his helmet but I might hold off on that too

Here is of course a CW Obi-wan in Mando Armor and a Darth Maul Mando Warrior from one of my favorite story arcs of the show.
The CW Obi-Wan Mando was painted using a Pre Vizsla and painted it on wand did some light weathering/smearing to get the chest armor the right effect

The Mando Warrior is finished, but I never got to his jetpack so I might find time to eventually decide what color and design I should apply.
The base figure was a CW  Mando Figure that I bought from someone off of Rebelscum where it was already all primed in black and I had to do so simple sanding. (Still have 3-4 more of the primed Mandos so I might eventually make more and maybe even the Super Commando)

Saw Peakob1's Sergeant Kano awhile back and I really liked it and decided to return to my failed attempt. I tried to remove all the old paint off to the best of my ability and repainted him.

Buzz and Draa were finished awhile back. (Didn't have that many green paint colors at the time so I had to mix some paint. Turned out okay but there isn't much more that I can fix at this point. I might start all over on new base figures and see where it will go, but for now it will have to do.

Jesse, Hardcase, and Kix were also finished awhile back. Pretty much same scenario as the Buzz and Draa figures. The tatoos were also very difficult, so not sure if I want to try again. Nowhere near the level of Wraith_nine's skill.

Clone Trooper Crys
Finished painting him, but I might add some weathering since my base figure didn't get cleaned up as well and might try to sculpt the right hair.

After cleaning up some of my past custom attempts, I decided that I would make a clone trooper Comet figure. Turned out better than I thought it would and might make some more Wolfpack clones to go with Wolffe

Redid my CW Commander Wolffe (grey version) His helmet was hard to paint and the lines on the shoulder pad were tedious, but it came it alright. Not sure if the grey I used was the best but I'm happy with it.

Also went back and redid some Snow Clone Troopers. The figure design were from the short web comics Star Wars.com released during the first season of the TCW. The story was right before the episode with the Talz and clone troopers. The Commander (center) is Mag and the figure on the right was Shiv. The one on the left was just a generic troop I made

Clone Trooper Radio Officer
Decided to create a Radio Officer who I might use as a Sergeant or Lieutenant in charge of the Riot Clones
Not totally sold on the red and color scheme, might tweak it in the future.

The rest are just some WIP
Trying to go with a generic Mando style soldier/rebel that serves two jedi that survived Order 66 (not sure yet, still a WIP)
The 2nd figure is my WIP of a CW Echo after the explosion.
Been playing around with a concept Airborne trooper (might make it into Commander Keller or just a simple 212th Attack trooper)
I've also always loved the Halo ODST armor, so I might make little squad of clone troopers that are similar.
123 by butterfingersbb, on Flickr

Finally finished Ima-gun-di's body. Just need to paint some minor details on. Also need to restart a Captain Keeli figure (didn't like my original progress and decided to use that body for another clone)

Working on a potential Dengar figure using a articulated Skywalker figure
095 by butterfingersbb, on Flickr

Unfinished ARC Trooper (Want to make him  trooper that works with Mace)
090 by butterfingersbb, on Flickr

Trying to finish Clone Commander Trauma's clone (troops killed by Savage's first appearance in the show) but the I just get keep getting bored by the task
183 by butterfingersbb, on Flickr

Also started the Tango Company (Group of clones that Clone Trooper Scythe belongs to) still to need to work on the emblems/squad logo but might not get to that in a while. Not sure if I'm 100% sold on the blue color even thought the current color matches the blue that Hasbro used on the Scythe figure

The Grey clone was an attempt to recreate some of the clones that showed up in the episode where there are clones in the bar when Fives is trying to contact Skywalker and Rex.
120 by butterfingersbb, on Flickr
121 by butterfingersbb, on Flickr

Clone Trooper Squawk and Commander Ganch from the web comics. Finished Ganch's pistol contraption, but it broke when I put the figure in storage and I might redo/repaint parts of the figure. The red is starting to smear onto the figure.
Still need to paint some designs on the Squawk figure
207 by butterfingersbb, on Flickr
211 by butterfingersbb, on Flickr

Painted two of Captain Lock's clones (couldn't clean up the original base figures after previous paint attempts) so they don't look that great. Might just weather them up and start all over with new , clean base figures
092 by butterfingersbb, on Flickr

At the moment, still working on various ideas/projects that jump into my head. Hope you enjoyed some of them, and if you like any figures I might be open to the idea of starting some commission work in the future. Thanks for looking!

Can't wait to see what you will come up with. Thanks Tamer for putting me on the front page. It's good to be back and posting again.

Should have some finished clones done in the next couple of days.

There are some really great customs here! The whole update is wonderful. I'm particularly intrigued with the Dengar concept.
