I'd love to see some sculpting WIPs of Fu Manchu.  Nice paint job too.

I actually can't take credit on the Fu Mancha headsculpt.  All I did was paint an Evergrey headcase to make this figure.

We've been busy here at home.  So busy we haven't had a chance to share any of our new creations, so we apologize for posting so many figures at once.

Beautiful
I love that slave Ashoka.  I haven't seen anyone do the burka outfit before.  You tweaked those lips perfectly.
Great R1 trio.
ARC trooper Echo...... Nuf said.  He's worth a mic 🎤 drop.
Gotta get me some hole-in-the-wall stuff.

Thank you all!

Hole In The Ground Productions has a new droid kit available on their web store full of great resin cast pieces made to enhance your dioramas and display shelves.  Their latest WED-9 is a fun day project that only requires some paint, sandpaper and krazy glue. I first sanded down any small imperfections in the cast, then primed the figure in black paint before I dry brushed in some color. After, I applied multiple washes to give the droid the "used" look.

When everything was completely painted, I glued on the head and arms to finish up the figure.  He looks great on display along with the other figures found in our Mos Eisley street display.

WED-9-M1, also known as a bantha droid, was a WED Treadwell droid seen around Mos Eisley. Built out of spare parts by Jawas, it was owned by Ohwun and Chachi De Maal.

Thank you all!

Just made two new customs!

Yerka Mig was a male Human Imperial bureaucrat with a high security clearance. As of 0 BBY he had well been established in Tatooine. Mig, stricken with remorse after his home planet Ralltiir was brutally occupied by the Empire, retired and fled to the Outer Rim Territories, pursued by the Imperial Security Bureau. He was a patron in Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina on Mos Eisley, and was hiding from Imperial agents inside when Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker sought passage to Alderaan there.

To create this figure we repainted a Black Series Ceremonial Luke Skywalker and swapped out the head of the figure for a cast of an Evergrey cast that we acquired through a friend.  There is nothing more fum then adding another Cantina denizen to the collection!

The second figure is a quick Rogue One project we did to add some articulation to Hasbro's K-2SO action figure. The 6" version of the figure had the super-articulation that we all wanted in the 3.75" scale.  Too add the articulation we used the knee and elbow joints from a Terminator action figure we purchased on eBay. We added two metal rods to the knee joints for stability by creating a post that we inserted into a hole we drilled up into the upper leg of the original figure. We did some sanding to the joints of the Terminator figure to keep the rounded edges that the original K-2SO action figure had.  By the time the project was finished we had the version we wanted adding both knee and elbow articulation to increase the figure's range of motion. We skipped adding articulation at the ankles and wrists due to the thin plastic. It was really nice to be able to increase the pose-ability of this 5 poa figure!
