Thanks L.E.!  I was a little disappointed at first, because we only made about half the number of customs than we had made the year before, but I really like what we made.  Hopefully this coming year will be more productive.

I have a lot of pirates that we're working on here at home.  Always adding to Hondo's gang, but these to are heading out to Wraithnine for his birthday.  I have a lot more intricate pirates coming your way soon.  Expect a few from Jay too,  i sent him some Clone Wars Weequay head casts like the one on Elias' figure.  He can accessorize them however he likes.

Here's Elias' latest.  He used one of my head casts to create a custom pirate of his own.

I keep thinking what a gold mine Hasbro had here with this line. They got new collectors into the game and there are literally thousands of new action figures they could have created in this line. Like I said on the front page thinks to great customizers like you and Elias this line will live on the right way. Hasbro would have just switched em to 5 POA anyhow. Cause you know kids don't like articulation right! :)

Thanks guys!

Dad already entered a figure the night the contest started.  He made a quick generic Clone Wars Weequay pirate for Hondo's gang to get things rolling.

This is my first entry.  I saw this picture of a Clone Trooper in Jedi disguise hunting the Force sensitive after Order 66 and wanted to add the Jedi Hunter to my collection.  I used a Clone Trooper head I had in fodder, cut off the neck and Dad drilled the head out so it would fit on a peg.  I used the head on a Vintage Obi-Wan Kenobi so the figure had maximum pose-ability.   He took me less than 10 minutes to make.

GREAT WORK MATE and I love the idea too.

I've always wondered if some Clones thought "Hey, screw you and Order 66...I'm outta here" and just went into hiding.  This Clone in Jedi Disguise could easily be a Clone hiding out on Tatooine or Saleucami.

One of the EU novels I keep waiting to read is a novel about a few clones or even one that survived to old age. I know we have the Skirata Clan that was working on a cure. I wonder if any author will be allowed to take this one someday?

This clone put on the Jedi disguise to hunt Jedi during Order 66, although I heard some clones like Fives defected after Order 66.

Elias send his thanks to your favorable replies!

Parental Supervision Required.

Take the upper torso of the Episode VI Darth Vader with removable helmet and swap it with the Vintage Darth Vader with the ball jointed hips and call it a day.  I boiled both figures in hot water, and then when the plastic the figures are made of got soft enough, I swapped the torsos.  Figures will be hot and you can definitely burn yourself.  I advise letting the excess water completely drain off the soft goods before attempting to touch the figure even with your oven mitts on.

I like this project because it takes only a few minutes to create.  Nothing like a quick No Paint Kit Bash to get a super pose-able Vader with the Sebastian Shaw likeness.
