Big improvement, Brian. I couldn't recall what the original figure looked like, glad you posted it on your blog as well. And like I said, big improvement. Hasbro's version just looks years older than what she appears to be in the comics.

I like it better too :)

So for the last three years now, Dad has been participating in Yakface.com's Secret Santa event. It has always been a huge provider of Christmas spirit in our home and was a real influence on Dad's decision to run the Secret Santa here at Imperial Shipyards this year. This year, Dad was assigned Star Wars customizer Justin Cook aka Chewie as the recipient of his holiday custom creations. Chewie had us our first year participating in the Yakface.com holiday event and he was kind enough to send us two custom action figures rather than just the single one required to participate.

Dad wanted to return the favor when he participated in this year's event. Because Chewie was a fan of Dad's zombie custom action figures and hints that Chewie dropped regarding his upcoming New Enloe Photonovel Chapter, Dad thought Justin would appreciate two unique Star Wars zombies. Dad was really excited, and a little intimidated about creating custom action figures for one of his all-time favorite Star Wars customizers. Dad was thrilled when Chewie said he received the action figures and loved them. Keep your eyes peeled in future chapters of Chewie's photonovel. You may just see these guys in a chapter featuring the undead.

The heads on BOTH of these figures were courtesy of SithHappens.  I highly endorse the casts that he's been creating.  These particular heads he threw in for free along with several others.  His free defects are great for zombies.  Instead of buying a figure for just the head, check out his ebay page.

So here is the custom action figure that I created for Luke Sprywalker.  If I had one more week, it would have been perfect, but overall, I'm pretty happy with the way he came out.

Click the link for the recipe and a video of the figure:

You always have those creative juices flowing!  Like the look; very different from the typical view of a Mando, and nicely done.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Just wanted to post here, thanks for the amazing work of art you sent me for Christmas! It really made my day opening and playing with this figure. He is now on display with all my Mandolorians!
