I really like the design of this ARF Trooper! The fine lines in the helmet are applied very well!
Hopefully we'll see an ARF Trooper in the Vintage Collection - can't wait to customize some realistic style ARFs...
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone!

Elias just finished a figure he has been working on for months.

This was a 95% sculpted action figure made mostly from Procreate, Aves Fixit and Green Stuff. He sculpted over a Padme Amidala in her black evening dress to make the body for Holdo. The head was from the Laura Dern character in the new Exclusive Target Jurassic Park action figure. Elias removed the hair and then sculpted on new hair and the tiara. Even the blaster was custom made.

Brilliant job Elias! You beat me to it - I just picked up one of those figures to do exactly the same thing. You did a fabulous job sculpting and painting this figure. Keep it up.

The Jurassic Park/World figures are great for customizing. I've lost track of how many blue-shirted Owens I've bought. I found the exclusive Ellie figure last weekend and made a quick custom using a Jyn head.

Too bad Alan and Muldoon's hats aren't removable, but hey beggars can't be choosers.

"Dad was never crazy about his Bo Katan headsculpt. Recently he was commissioned to make a Bo Katan and they asked if he could reproduce his original head for their figure. Dad just decided to give them his original and asked me to make the replacement head because he said I make better female heads than him. To make the figure, I completely re-modified a Clone Wars Aurra Sing head with Aves and then used ProCreate to make her hair. Then I painted her the best I could. I really love the way she came out!" - Elias

Elias completed a new "Bo Katan" headsculpt!

Thanks everyone! Being a kid in our hobby, positive feedback really means a lot to me.

Dad is still on break and I have been doing what I can to keep the blog going.

This is definitely the most difficult paint job I think I have ever had to do. Between the wing pattern on the jetpack, and the convor on the shoulder pad, the extremely small details were quite the challenge. All the hard work only made me love the action figure more when I finally completed her. I chose not to add articulation to this figure, because in the end, I thought adding articulation might hurt the final product more than it would help it. The joints I had available were just too big to add to the skinny frame and would have ruined her silhouette.

I had to completely resculpt Sabine's hair and add armor to her shins. I also had to do some modifications to tailor fit Commander Cody's jetpack to my Sabine figure. I then utilized magnets to make the jetpack attach to her back so it had the option of being removable.

She came a long way from the Season 2 Sabine Wren action figure we received from Hasbro and I couldn't be happier with the results!

Custom Action Figure

Excellent job Elias! The paint applications turned out wonderfully - I applaud your determination and perseverance as well as the skill you are showing. The sculpting is great as well. You have every right to be proud of this figure!
