A couple more pics.............

I cut out the front section using a burning iron, tidied it up with a craft knife, removed the motor for space. Then I photocopied the original card insert, attached that to rigid card cut to shape to add extra walls and the result is another 3 rooms.
The roof section is held in place by 2 small black pieces of plastic glued in place on either side of the middle section, if you look closely the first pic of a Standard Kenner Falcon, it actually is the modified one with its roof back in place!  Smiley
 Hope you like it!  Smiley

Heres some extra pics of an old X Wing that I was thinking about repairing, then decided to try and turn it into a sort of Colonial Viper from the Old Battlestar Galactica! LOL!  Smiley

That Falcon work is just over the top. I had to give it its own separate news story. Gonna take it to our Facebook page too.

Once again welcome and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Glad you like them!
Im sure lots of people have been tempted to see whats at the front of the old Falcons, well now you know!  Wink
Im sure it could be improved upon, but Ive leave that to the Pro's for now, it was just a quick  job, both only took about 5 hours. LOL!  Smiley

YES!

Out of all the Star Wars toys, the Vintage Falcon is my favorite, just handling one of them brings back so many fantastic childhood memories. I often wonder why Hasbro never utilized the front section and you have shown us what should have been done in the first place.

This is an amazing conversion, really well done. I love the use of decals and panels.

What I lack in skill, I make up for in creativity.

That upgrade on the old Falcon is amazing!  The Viper is a cool mod too!
