Hi,
I am getting ready to weather the walls in the diorama that I am currently building. The finish is currently a glossy turquoise color, and the walls have a subtle textured design, but I want to give them a grungy, filmy look (like walls inside of a garage that are dirty from exhaust and have never been washed).
I’m thinking maybe a flat black and brown wash, with a 1 to 9 parts acryllic paint to water solution, then letting it run down the sides (?). I know this may not be the best technique, so I am looking for advice. I haven’t been very lucky with finding information on the web on the best way to do this…found lots of weathering videos, tutorials, etc, but none dealing specifically with the “look” I am trying to achieve.
Advice is appreciated!
