Build a Droid Coming Back?

(1/2) > >>

Tamer:
This was just posted by our friends at JTA!

"An array of Disney merchandise was on display Friday. Coming May 10, just before Star Wars Weekends, will be a Droid Factory at Tattooine Traders at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's a build-your-own Astromech Droid activity resulting in 3-inch figures that fit into other playsets. "

This according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The Spectre:
This was reported on one of the sites (I think Rebelscum but am not 100% sure) awhile back. Apparently it will utilize the various Astromech BAD parts and there will be 10 different color schemes available resulting in something like 50 possible different droids (not counting mixing and matching parts from different colorschemes).

The Spectre:
Hit Downtown Disney today and scored all of the color variants of the R6, R8 and R9 droids as well as a pair of droids unlike any available in the old Hasbro BAD line.

I got:

R6 -  black/silver head w/black body
R6 - black/silver head w/ white body w/black markings
R6- white/purple head w/ white body w/purple markings
R6 - white/yellow head w/white body w/yellow markings

R8 - blue/silver head w/white body w/blue markings
R8 - white/black head w/white body w/black markings
R8 - white/yellow head w/white body w/yellow markings

R9 - red head on red body
R9 - red head on white body w/red markings
R9 - blue head on blue body
R9 - green head on green body
R9 - green head on white body w/green markings

R5 - black/silver/yellow head on black body with silver markings

R7 - yellow head on white body w/yellow markings

I got a full set of hats with extra Yoda caps.

I also got the Star Tours 3pk with the Seeker Droid, blue Signal Droid and the Imperial Sky Trooper.

Tamer:
Sounds like a fun day to me. I hope you are taking pictures!

Clonehead:
That was a full fledged Astromech score!
