Galen Marek AKA Starkiller in the Clone Wars style
« on: April 23, 2012, 09:38:34 PM »
Hello my Imperial friends, my name is Chris from Hunter Knight Customs, been a fan of the site for a while now and I have just decided to join.

I'm here to present you my custom Galen Marek aka Starkiller from the force unleashed video game but done in the clone wars style.

Galen was made out of a Mace Windu body, a cast head and sculpted details. I gave him 2 lightsabers and a stand.

I always make videos for all of my customs, so here are the pics and video.

Thanks for watching!

I'm not a huge fan of the CW style but I must admit, this is one of the customs I've seen that make me appreciate it more and more.  Great Job!

Thank you, yeah same here with me, I collect very few CW, but I find myself attracted to the artistic style of the figures more and more. I try to fill the holes of my collection with them like Embo, Ahsoka, Seripas, Cad bane etc.

Chris, this is an awesome idea. I too am usually not a fan of TCW Figures other than perhaps Clones, but this is just awesome.

Once again, welcome to ISY and this is now sporting on our front page.

Very cool custom. You did a good job on him. I don't know why Hasbro can't make cool action figures like this...

Thank you all for your kind words! It's great to have found a community like this one. I have to say, it was suggested to me last year by another fellow customizer who unfortunately is no longer among us: Mike Martinez, Aka Mercury Art studios back when we had our converstaions via Facebook, but I was so busy with Masters of the universe classics that I kept procastinating until Just this year I finally had the time to get back onto star wars customs and join the fun in this forum!

Welcome to the Yards Hunter! We are friends on facebook so I am a fan of your art. I love this version of Starkiller! Very nice sculpting on this! Are you working with Aves fix-it sculpt? I would also like to know what head you used/modified for this? It works quite well, could it be a clone? hmmm... Very nice work all around and the paint on that head is just perfect!

Yes sir! the only apoxie I use for sculpting directly onto figures! (I use other types for prototyping but Aves Fixit is the bread and butter)

The head is a soft apoxie cast of Anakin skywalker (the last version with brown stand) ..ironic right? the master gives life to the apprentice hehe
