I just got one of those Stormies yesterday to do this very thing.  Hunh.  Guess that's one project I don't have to worry about now!

Sorry doc, knock yourself out anyways. It is a great sculpt. I'm excited about your printing project, btw.

can you cast the stormie helmets in white to minimize painting?

Only if I switch resins. My guess is that uniformity of color would be an issue. The stuff I use goes lighter or darker depending on the mix ratio.

I may - it is a minor project for me, given the wall & floor project.   8)  Does the Stormie boil & pop apart like normal?  The plastic feels different to me.   :-\

the head has a positive peg which may end in a mushroom shape protruding down into the torso.
I just cut it off as I wanted it with a neck post hole or hollow like we are used to with the black series, legacy, tac, saga, etc.

Im sure you guys knew this one was coming. This part is kind of a pain as the mold took 9/10 of a pound of mold material and takes the same amount of resin it would require to make about $100+ worth of parts. Here is the first casting. I made it somewhat hollow to save on resin and shipping cost for any overseas buyers. Im going to paint this one up like its factory counterpart.

You start selling these and you are gonna have to make frequent trips to the store for more resin! Looks great Clint.
