Hi everyone,

I'm a bit shy as this is my first post  >:D (thanks to Doc Outland who told me about this place).

First off Hi Doc!

Oh man was it hard to apply.

Firstly I had to find the material, it's called Mactac and it's hard to find (I could only find it sold in rolls. and I've still got a load of it im my garage (Cost £40 a roll). It's basically a very thin self adhesive vinyl. It's very sticky and prone to static when trying to lay it. basically it's bloody hard to lay without trapping air, it's like applying a huge screen protector.  Luckily the fact i've got so much of it means that if I make a mistake I just cut some more and start again.

Wow...   suppose that's a better result than gloss black paint covered by plastic wrap.  ;D

I keep thinking I'm going to try black foamcore with a thin sheet of plexi from a cheap poster frame - suitably cleaned and polished - to see what sort of look I get.
