I think the prices will drop back to "normal" in a few months as long as WalMart doesnt follow suit

Just more incentive to pick and choose what I really really want.

While not at all surprising, if you all remember, the same thing happened last January.  And the January before that.  Every year, they try to spike, and people stop buying real quick.  For whatever reason, Walmart seems to be the compass on prices.  If they go up, prices will remain up.  If they do not, prices will fall again at other stores.  Regardless, it does make it a whole lot easier to choose what to buy and what not to buy.

I dunno...Targets in my area have had a few REALLY good deals lately.  Tron Legacy figs for $3.50, Tauntauns and the "Search for Luke" tauntaun/Han/Hoth rebel soldier 3pak for $12.

well there is no doubt that target does have some of the best clearance deals around. as of yet, none of my stores have restocked after the christmas clean-out. they have the new displays up, just no new product on the shelves.

my Target (the one I work at) had a single TPM battle droid on the peg........I guess someone got the rest of the wave. I'm glad I am not interested in this wave, take the pressure off to snap em up :)

It's not Target, it's Hasbro, they are raising prices accross the board.

MU is already up $1 everywhere, Star Wars is second on the block, GI Joe will raise when the movie hits (but some stores have upped it already).

This is accross the board, Wal-Mart, Target, eventually TRU, ect.

Updates Mon-Fri every week, also reviews and much much more.

the new TLC figures are pretty good, and i was lucky enough to find one of each at my Wal-Mart(except Darth Maul & sidious),and I snatched 'em all up.one of each was all they had.i left the battle droid,he didn't impress, and of course I already own TPM Obi-Wan from a wave before this one.i guess the only figure worth picking up if i were any of you would be the Quinlan Vos.he is a cool looking figure, and the package looks cool with him chillen on tattooine.didn't even realize he was in TPM.$8.59 i paid for each here in Fl.
