I came up with this idea because when I tried sculpting it I realised i dont have the proper tools ir skills for it. I might have to do more sanding around the cheeks, uf not scrap it and see if i can commission a helmet.

Re: Complete 1:12 scale Sith Acolyte
« Reply #171 on: January 24, 2017, 08:39:33 PM »
I made a Sith Acolyte based on the SWTOR Decieved and Hope trailers. Recipe: His body is one of the Nolan Batman toys I picked up at Goodwill. I shaved the ears and face down, sculpted mask (first time and with Sculpey III) he has Darth Mauls soft goods skirt as well as the cloak and rubber belt. The control pieces on the gauntlets are the mouth/nose pieces from the Hasbro 6 inch Biker Scout.

Weapon: I gave him a scratch built saber from styrene tubing, and the blade was salvaged off of a Star Wars Unleashed DarthVader statue that was too bent to keep.

This turned out really well, especially for a first time on the mask.

Re: Inferno Squadron Iden Versio ingame accurate WIP
« Reply #175 on: November 27, 2017, 06:20:57 AM »
I get why Hasbro went with a straight repaint for an exclusive figure but it bothered me enough to make a game accurate version of Versio. And after playing Battlefront 2 it really put my into gear. The silver nozzle pieces are from a model I bought at Ollies I painted and glued. More to come later.

Re: Inferno Squadron Iden Versio ingame accurat Done....for now
« Reply #178 on: December 16, 2017, 01:37:41 PM »
Bought a knockoff sandtrooper off ebay for correct chest armor found out its the rubber material not the harder plastic so even after a sealer coat the paint was rubbing off...so I am calling this done for now but I will be revisiting...
