Love the custom vintage figs!  Your ROTJ Luke looks almost like Kyle MacLachlan in Dune!

Oh yeah, they turned out fantastic. I had hoped you would perhaps recard some of these great vintage customs. I bet I know one story that will be on the fp tomorrow.

Glad you like the carded customs guys! I had these cards made up for me, but I'm going to try my had at doing my own in the near future - however the start up costs are pretty high!

Next up from "The Line That Time Forgot" ??

Jango Fett
Count Dooku
ATAT Door Gunner
Sandtrooper

But these may be a little down the line as I have far too much on the go at the moment!!

Ok guys here's the mother lode!

I got my Falcon back in 1979 for Christmas and dang I loved her! She travelled with my my entire life and was played with everywhere between the snows of Scotland, swamps of Germany and deserts of Australia. Sadly though she's in a rough old state now...

Oh yeah, she a borderline junker - missing parts, broken parts, torn stickers, bad yellowing and covered in a world's worth of dirt and grime...

Now where shall we start...

Ok how about searching through the loft and garage and finding as many of the missing parts as possible? Then hitting the 'bay to get the last few...

Keen eyed readers will notice that I'm missing the Jedi training ball and arm  I have one coming, but I also need to replace the broken peg!

Here she is after the nice and easy take down

The  it's off to the tub for a scrub! It was quite sad to see all that childhood dirt come out!

Here she is stretched out and drying off - just look at the state of that battered, rumpled cardboard insert - we need to do something about that!

You can see how damaged the insert has become here -

I didn't want to print out a new one - so instead I've flattened it out by means of a gentle steam ironing

Done carefully the results are quite impressive! As 99% of the stickers are being replaced due to the respray I want to keep some original details - such as this insert and the holo table sticker, eve if they are slightly worn!

Next up? Paint and stickers!

Ghost it made a horrible screeching 'battle alert' noise - truly hideous!

Here's my final repair before paint...the peg for the training remote!

I've ordered a repro arm and ball from the US which will probably take a couple of weeks to arrive... However my paint should be here for the weekend and we can really get rolling!

So are you aiming for a brand new right off the assembly line look or will this be a realistic restoration?
