My comments are on the front page. Nice work Devin. I like how you can really tell this is a female Mando, not just a head popped onto a regular Mando body.

The female Boba Fett has been done to death? Lol not that I've seen. I really like that you chose the Agent Helix head for this. Definitely looks like she could be the clone mother of my Female Fett. Nicely done! I know exactly what you mean by your hands getting shaky. Depending on what you do when you're not making customs and how long you spend making customs, it's most likely muscle fatigue. I'm usually hunched over my work table and am using lots of finger strength to cut and saw and sand and paint. Don't worry you don't have a neurological disorder, you just customize a lot :)

WOuld be really awesome if we could somehow do a group shot with Janga Fett and Babe-a Fett.

well... maybe not "done to death"... cuz let's face it there can never be enough female mando figures!   But I wanted to do something I hadn't seen done but still keep the "starbucking" idea so I figured jango would be the best bet.

I love the female version of our beloved bounty hunters...great job on Janga!  Your version of her, along with AFE's Baba Fett, are two of my faves!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

yeah, I guess next we need to do zuckas, bossk, (4-lom and IG-88 can't be starbucked) and who else?

First of all it's totally possible to do 4-lom and IG-88. Second, why hasn't there been a starbucking contest? Starbuck as many classic characters as you can!

I guess you could do the droid BH's as well... but it's not as strait forward.

anyways, go a new one to upload shortly...

501st "pin-up" clone...

Fem troopers were never meant to serve in actual battle, but rather serve as pin-up poster girls to rally morale and support not only within the clone trooper barracks but also from the general public...

the fem-clone was created using a marvel universe female figure as the base.  I carefully popped the torso apart (I broke the first one that I tried! UGH! those marvel female torsos are tough to get cracked without screwing up!) and replaced the figure's arms with arms from a captain rex animated figure.  then re-painted to match the 501st colors.

the figure has 2 heads, one "unmasked" head is actually a stock marvel universe kitty pride head, the helmeted head is the head from a 501st clone trooper with the braids from a slave leigh glued on pluss hot glue in the ball socket to make the helmet fit on over the tinier neck ball of the MU torso.

The belt is custom made from strech cord and cut up bits of an extra clone trooper's belt.  I cut off the two largest "pouches" and glued them to the front and cut off the thermal detonator to glue to the back.   The "control panel" between the figure's shoulder blades is actually trimmed down accessory off the belt as well.  It was trimmed to fit the curves of the figure's back and glued into place.

so... what do yall think?

Looks terrific!  I want to join the 501st!  (I guess the tactic works... ;))

Very nice work with the paint apps; I almost didn't notice that you had redone the entire fig in the 501st stripes, it just blends in so well with the figure's aesthetic.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!
