I like your entry, CC and your wip shots, CS!
Devin, this one is right up your alley and I specifically designed it to get your attention.

it definitely got my attention.... unfortunately I've been out of customizing for almost 4 months now... don't expect a flamboyant entry when I get home!

I'm certain whatever you bring us will be amazing, Spud.  Your customs always are!

Wow, we had a great couple of entries today. Those mandos look nice, gents.
Ghost, as per the rules, you need to kill that vehicle pic and replace it with another one without a vehicle if you want.
Sorry.

What could be better than a Mandalorian Custom Contest??? Not much! I admit I started my entry by piecing together lots of bits from various figures in my usual kit-bash style and produced a Mandalorian pirate king, but I wasn't all that excited about him. So I put him aside and didn't think about it for a few days. Then late on night it hit me. Combining some of my favorite Star Wars/fanboy things: Female characters, Mandalorians, Boba Fett, cosplay, and of course a bit of ingenuity. A female Boba Fett! If you've been to the cons you may have seen a female cosplayer who is referred to as "Babe-a Fett". There are varying costumes out there of girl-Fetts and so I hit google to see what other custom makers had done in creating her. Well after 30 minutes of web and image searching and lots and lots of different keywords I found only one 3D representation of a Female Boba and it was a non articulated statuette. As far as I know this is the first and only custom female Boba Fett figure out there so far. (I'm sure I'm wrong and someone has one but hasn't posted anything online, or I overlooked it. Please prove me wrong!) But according to google, this is quite possibly a first. So I busted out the paint and the super glue and began to chop and splice together parts from 2 different Boba Fetts and a GI Joe Agent Helix. Maybe I'll start doing fully painted customs more often, you never know!

I am thrilled to see so many amazing Mandos created for this contest! As far as customs go, custom Mandos are possibly the most drool-worthy!

(also just FYI my camera's date is off. Obviously it's not November 2009. This custom was photographed today. Sorry for any confusion!)

Without further ado, I present Boba Femm aka Babe-a Fett:

Just a few extra photos showing some full body shots. Not part of my entry just for those who might want to see.

Good luck!
