wow. This is Halloween stuff. Now all he need is the spine and the skull to do a proper Predator separation. Nice addition spudafett.

That super articulated general grevious someone linked to (i forgot who it was) inspired me to try my hand at something similar.  I didn't have enough ig-86 assassin droids on hand to make every part super articulated like I wanted to but I got pretty close.  I think there are still a few things I can add to it to make it better.  I wish the backwards knee joint bent or at least rotated to allow the legs more posability.... but I'll figure that out later.  It also needs a paint job.  Don't ask me exactly what joints I used where because I honestly don't rememer.  I know I did use one clone elbow joint for the neck and some double pegged gi-joe elbow joint for the stomach/torso joint.

enjoy:

what do you think guys?  don't hold back.  Pick this crap apart guys, I want to hear suggestions, likes/dislikes, tell me what part your going to steal ideas from! lol

Samauri mandalorian wip

this is an old super articulated boba fett I did a joe splice on, this is a similar one that was used for my reference tutorial on that process.  I've been wanting to redo my own super articulated boba and realy didn't like this one so I made some adjustments and made a new figure.  This one is destined for e-bay after a fresh coat of paint.

Oh yeah, that last Grevious pic shows me all I need to see. Just great Spudafett. That fett isn't hurting my eyes either. Makes me want to see a figure of that Samauri Vader they made armor for a few years back.

ok guys, if you havn't been watching my thread for a few days you need to go back about 3 pages and catch up! lol....

Heres some pics of my finished garage dio.  Now don't be looking for mine and fri-lek slave's (dawn's) contest entry, I made sure to remove them from the dio for these shots.

I think it turned out realy nice.  I need to give props to the member's of deviant art whose artwork I used to make the "posters" on the walls.  Most of those are from members on deviant art.

Tell me what you think.

Extremely cool dio. So many things remind me of a mechanic's garage, such as the pics on the walls and the overall vibe.
Excellent attention to detail. Great job!

Sweet garage, Devon! I love the girlie posters on the walls! Therenia just too much cool stuff to see there.
That grievous looks pretty tough. Is that one a split apart arm version?

Oh, MAN!!!  The kids and I just finished SLOWLY scrolling thru the garage pics!  Holy smokes!!  That is bloody AWESOME!!  (it's too clean, but I think Frie would gripe if you oil-stained the floor-surface!   ;D

lol actually doc I probably will put a big oil spill or something in there.  Honestly I was afraid it wouldn't sow up, black on black and all.  Maybe some mud stains or something too?

thanks for the comments guys.

clonehead, that grevious is the one that has the extra split arms in there but I didn't have enough extra joints to make the split arm parts... so he's only got two for now.  I'll eventually get around to getting the 4 arms built to swap out.

ribbit- a mechanic's garage is exactly what I was going for!  glad you like it.

any one thing stand out in the dio to anyone?  anything you think I should add or get rid of?  I know it's rather busy in there.  It looks even more crowded with dawn's and mine contest entries added in.... her bike takes up alot of room! lol

Actually what stood out was that it wasn't cluttered *enough*!  Most shops like that I've seen have had almost NO room to move inside!  Oh, and it's too clean.   8)

More pics of the pig-tailed chick on the bike please.   :)

Or maybe you've already shown her off elsewhere in the forums?

Spud, that Grievous is really breathtaking.
Fantastic super-articulation!
