Ok, the Rebound Swoop is NO LONGER my contest entry - you just almost nailed the way I was aiming to handle it, chick and all!  Nice job to your wife, too - HOT paintjob!

What an awesome bike and chick Spudafett. I love how the bike is integrated with the speeder front.  The paint job on that chick is indeed Hot. Your wife is really doing great, hard to believe that in one of the first few custom paintjobs she has done. Two artists in the family now.

thanks everyone for the comments... man I wish this contest would be over so I could post pics of the final dio with all the bikes in it... I'd take out the contest bikes but then it just looks funny to me since the contest entrys are the "leaders" in my mind..... and I'm too lazy to move things out of the dio now that I have it mostly set up the way I want it! lol! 

I've got speeder bike fever though... went to gatlinburg these last 2 days and every gift shop I was noticing 1:18 scale harley's and 4-wheelers and various things that I'd look at and go "hmmm... swoop!"   ::)

man... you had to say that.  Dawn got a cy-girl 12in action figure on e-bay a few weeks ago and I've been trying to get her to get a bike to go along with it! I was just thinking about getting one of the 12in luke/leia/scout trooper packs from back in the day. but every one that I've looked at has been real pricey.

 Finished the mechanic tonight after getting home from our little 2 day vacation.   Here he is with his custom built plas-torch, tool belt, shop towel, and his work-dolly.  The dolly is actually a cheap tech-deck skate board I originally bought just cuz of the tiny tools in it to throw on the dio's shelves.  Then I realized that the mechanic's mechanized leg-chair wouldn't fit under the swoops so that he could work on it and this tech-deck was perfectly sized!

what do you think?  That is the skull mask from the cemetary warrior from the indiana jones line.  The bottom jaw was shaved off the figures face as it was part of the head sculpt and molded on.  I actually cut them appart on accident while trimming it off and had to find something to do with it, so I threw them on his helmet. 

I think it makes him look even more like a crazed lunatic.
