I went out today after doing my house-husband chores just to get out of the house for a bit since Liz was working and I was by myself. I decided to hit up the K-Mart by my house again and the Wayne TRU since it is on it's final days (closes the second Wednesday of the month).
K-Mart was still having their "get $12 Free Cash when you spend $12 with the rewards card" so I grabbed another "Power Rangers" Rita Repulsa (still take an additional 50% off clearance toys until the end of the day today) and picked up one of the two different static vinyl Kid Galaxy Lontic/Tedco dinosaur sets that they carry (different dinosaurs than the 3 sets I picked up at TJMaxx recently). The total came to $14.68 but I only paid $2.68 thanks to the rewards card bonus. I also received a $12 Free Cash card that matures on 4/8 and a $5 off a $15 toy purchase so I will have $17 (the reward and coupon are stackable) next week to pick up the second Lontic/Tedco set and another of this set and pay the $3-ish difference
At TRU, I bought the last Schleich item in the store, an "Eldrador" Battle Arena Playset. I have 2 of them already but could not pass this one up at $14.99 (originally $99.99) since I wanted another of the Dwarven Warrior in the set and this is the only way to get him. I can use the rest of the playset for parts so it was a pretty good deal. I picked up the "Game Of Thrones" figure for $2 for his sweet crossbow.
