I saw some new 1/18 scale vehicle fodder at Wal-Mart for only $4.97.

I picked up the dino set for the sweet Therinosaurus. The helicopter and just about everything else in the box will be up for trade this weekend.

The construction set also comes with an underscaled vehicle that could easily be made I to a drone of some sort.

Added Frost to the Colonial Marine ready line and got a spare to give Hudson his proper bucket.

I scored these great "Walking With Dinosaurs" mini 3pks at Wal-Mart for only $3 each!

I love that they include a small feathered dino as well as a prehistoric early mammal, both types of prehistoric animals usually ignored by toy manufacturers. I need to make a stand for the feathered dino as its running stance only leaves 1 foot on the ground and it cannot stand unassisted.

Toys R Us pulled a large portion of their non-dinosaur or wildlife Schleich products from the shelves for disposal and I managed to get these items that they missed!

I scored everything in this image for $0.03 each!

Total cost with tax was only $0.26!

I also picked up this 50th Anniversary "G.I.Joe" Zombie-Vipers 2pk at TRU in Wayne after work.

I plan on picking up every one of these I see :)

Picked up this Mario comic off ebay. I don't collect comics but these were a big part of my childhood. Definitely looking to grab more.

Thanks to some store credit I had at Toys R Us, I picked up 3 of the 4 "Animal Planet" sets I have been eyeing for over a year!

Some thoughts on this playset:

The materials are very soft and flimsy, the walls and floors flex at the slightest provocation making opening and closing (particularly closing) the playset problematic.

The playset interior is very small, especially for taller figures like "G.I.Joe", smaller figures like "Star Wars" will fit with more headroom.

The white movable platform on the roof has 3 different attachment points allowing kids to customize how their plays at looks.

The working airlock on the backside sticks due to the flimsy material. It will work if you force it though.

The removable shark cage does not fit very well , but I will not be using it anyway.

I plan on modifying this playset and making it into an outpost on an alien world. Many exterior details such as the props will be covered up with sci-fi tech detail. Additional sci-fi elements will be added and it will get a full repaint.

I also scored another pair of $0.03 wizards today at the TRU on Rt17 in Paramus.

My awesome wife took me to TRU while running errands and treated me to the last "Animal Planet" set I wanted. We also found the brand new 2001 "Godzilla" from NECA and another 50th Anniversary "G.I.Joe" Zombie-Vipers 2pk!

I received a box in the mail today containing review copies of 2 different boxed sets containing 5 graphic novels each from Double Take.

These stories take place in the universe started with 1968's "Night Of The Living Dead" and I am very eager to start reading them.

Picked up the brand new "Animal Planet" set with the humpbacked whale tonight at TRU while running errands with my wife.

I also picked up 3 more of these at Walmart:

I love the dinosaur in this set and you cannot beat the $4.97 price. I eventually want to get 1 more to have an even 6.
