After work thrift store score!

I grabbed this Mattel 12" scale Killer Croc figure for $3.99!

I am going to customize it into a Troll for my 3.75"/4" fantasy figures. You can see how it scales against a 4" "Fortnite" figure in the picture.

After work thrift store score!

I grabbed this Papo TRex at the thrift store for $3.99!

It is a little scuffed up (easily fixed), but brand new they go for $36!

After work Burlington and thrift store scores!

The 6" "Marvel Legends: Fantastic Four" Psycho-Man was $6.99 at Burlington. I am going to modify and repaint him to be a giant Kirby-esque cosmic being for my 3.75"/4" sci-fi figures.

The red Chap Mei dino was $6.99 at the thrift store. I buy every one of these that I come across for this pirce as they are great "monster" figures (they do not correspond to any real life species as they mix characteristics of 6 or 7 different species) for my 3.75"/4" figures.

Nice! You can customize that elephant into something fun. That's a real treasure trove for six dollars.

After work thrift store score!

I found another tote full of Chap Mei "Animal Planet" items for $4.99!

The sealife are complete and in great condition aside from the copper giant squid, but I can salvage the 4 tentacles for a future custom project. The Icthyosaurus in the upper right of the image is worth way more than what I paid for the entire tote, as it was only ever offered in 1 set in America, and only for a year before being phased out and replaced with a similarly sized shark for the remainder of the time the line was at TRU.

The figures are in great shape aside from one of the divers, who is missing a hand and a foot, but he has some cool pouches that can be trimmed off for a future project. The accessories are the older, solid ones, not the modern ones that are hollow on the reverse, so that is a plus.

The boat is a bit rough, but has some cool tech details that can be removed via disassembly. The cages and nets are always welcome for diorama projects.

There are also a few random Imaginext accessories and a robot shark that will be useful.

Not a bad haul for $4.99!

Today's Burlington score!

I have 2 or 3 of these already, but I could not pass up gigantic $40 mechs for $3.99 each!

I got both that they had in the store. I already had 2 or 3 at home from the original release and clearance from Target. I want 2 more if I can find them at $3.99.

Today's after work thrift store score!

The 12" scale King Shark was $2.99 and will be customized into a Troll for my 3.75"/4" fantasy figures.

The Volcano diorama piece was $1.99! I heard some items rattling around inside of the base of the Volcano, and when I got it home and disassembled it, I found several plastic palm trees! Bonus!

Hit up Burlington looking for more "Halo" mechs (no luck) and found this brand new 2024 "Jurassic World" 12" basic dinosaur for $3.99 (regularly $10.99-$11.99). There are 2 new dinos (2nd pic) and 2 repacks. They only had the Suchomimus and a repacked Dilophosaurus which I passed on.

These 12" basic dinos are species that are available in other sizes in the main line, but I like getting the assorted sizes as they look cool in group shots and represent others of the same species that are younger/older.

After work thrift store score!

All of these dinosaurs and other creatures (plus some horses for my niece and nephew) were in a bag for $3.99!

The 3 largest dinos are original "Jurassic Park III" figures from 2000 made by Hasbro. You gotta love finding 24 year old toys in great condition for next to nothing 😁

The Kong figure is missing the removeable skin "damage" piece, but I can sculpt over that before repainting him.
