Today's DII score!

The "Avengers" figures were $6.99 each. I plan on covering the goofy smiling face sculpt and adding some crazy Kirby-styled wings/horns/whatever to the helmets before repainting them to be huge, alien guards for a crime lord.

The "Spaceship Adventure" set was $9.99 and utilizes a mixture of Chap Mei and other molds. The primary draw for me was the unique accessory tree and the satellite with solar panels.

I found these cool resin skull 3pks for $1 each! They are too large for human skulls at the 3.75"/4" scale, but are great for titan or giant skulls.

They are in the $1-$5 section in the front of the store by the registers.

I grabbed this "He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe" set at TJ Maxx for the cosmic bird, the staff and Sorceress' wings. Plenty of useful parts for $6.99!

Today's Dollar General haul.

I really liked the new feathered dino so I grabbed another. I traded the plane to a fellow customizer and will sell/trade this one as well.

The ocean playsets were free. They were having a BOGO/Free on all yellow star toys (visible on price sticker) and I had a "spend $25 and save $5" coupon. I just wanted the stingrays and can trade/sell the figures and skidoos.

Today's thrift shop haul!

I got everything pictured for $5.33!

I have no idea what the strange brown arch is from (says "20th Century Fox" underneath but no year of production), but it looks really cool and will go into my fantasy stuff as an Orc territory marker after I customize it.


EDIT: Found an answer to the weird arch- it is a perch for the Disney parks' "Avatar" Banshee puppet. They go for $30 in the parks so getting it for $1.99 was a steal!

I picked up this awesome Skelesnail at Spirit Halloween!

It is unarticulated, but has a wonderful sculpt. The plastic is firm and non waxy.

I plan on painting the snail a nice, sickly mucusy yellow-green and the shell a brownish shade with the skull drybrushed in my traditional bone colors.

It scales very well as a large creature with 4" figures as seen in the last 2 images.

It retails for $10.99, but I had a 20% off coupon which brought it to $9.34 including the sales tax.

After work Gamestop freebie score!

Gamestop is having a "buy 1 get 2 free" sale on their clearance items for Pro members. I got all 3 of these for FREE as they came to $5.97 in total (price of 1) and I had $6 in rewards!

Sadly, I only got 1 dinosaur and 2 vehicles I have no use for, but for free, I am not going to complain!

My holiday in Egypt took me back to ancient times and to my nostalgia for Assassin's Creed Origins from back in 2017. And to my 30th birthday I found a used Dawn of the Gods Collectors Box for 80€. So I paid the seller half of it in advance to pick it up 5 weeks later.

On my tour across the country last Sunday I finally got to meet him and his girlfriend.
They told me that they're going to travel the world in October. They start in Asia and are planning to stay either in Japan or Singapore. They leave Germany to never come back.
Our country will loose two very nice people - and I can well relate to their decision.

Therefore they're selling off ALL their stuff 'til the end of the month. And after they told me about it I said let's call it even then and gave them the 50 Euro bill I had. 10 bucks more could be useful when you travel the world. 80€ were a very good deal anyways so 90 didn't hurt at all, either!





As an unexpected result he didn't hesitate and gave me a Coon figure from UbiCollectibles. And I immediately thought of a friend of mine who is a BIG fan of Southpark! The last one sold for 30€ on ebay, sealed ones go for 50-70€ so that was a very generous bonus and future gift to my buddy.



But not enough with Coon! It's tradition in Eastern Germany to put boxes with unwanted stuff on the sidewalk in front of your door for people to take. So Kevin asked me if I wanted to take a Collector's Edition of WATCHDOGS for the XBOX360 with Soundtrack and ArtBook?
I got an XBOX and sure heard of the quality of this game. Sure was I all for it!
This was an awesome encounter! It's sad to see them leave, but I'm sure it's for a better future.


This is going to be a birthday present for another friend, soon.

Thanks Shawn! I forgot to mention that he gave the Watchdogs Edition away because it's rated R and feebay won't allow him to sell it there. Last time I saw something that triggered me in such boxes on the sidewalk was back in June.
A picture frame caught my eye, which I used for my Utapau mini diorama Clone Trooper vs. Crap Droid.



I was passing by on my bike and saw it. It was well worth to turn around. I usually don't look for those crates. Maybe I should go box hunting more in the future. lol
