can anyone tell me how to paint a gunship as for weathering i saw a custom weathered gunship and was very impressed by the detail =]

Hangerbay94 has some great UToob videos on weathering, he's weathering the Falcon but you could apply the weathering to anything

what i did to weather my gunship was heavily dry brushed it and the used sandpaper to take off most of the paint and it looks awesome you can see a pic of it in my custom figures thread

I will second that Spooky.  HB's youtube video is a perfect intro.  There's a few others floating around in the forums too.
