Hey guys...

Finished 19 solid days on duty and decided to celebrate by painting my 'No-Sculpt Starkiller'

I'm a little rusty re painting at the moment - but I think that he came out ok... I've got some homemade Imp decals to add to his shoulder armour too

Thanks for stopping by...

WB Out!!

Just stopped by the check everything out and I was greeted with an awesome surprise!  This Starkiller looks great!

Let me say first: Wicked cool!  The color choices look even better than was imagining they would.  I just noticed that the head is on one of those  ball-jointed swivel neck posts: great idea!  Did the neck post fit on the Kyle Katarn torso easily (or was the armor used to hide some of it)?

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

I agree, doesn't look like any rust to me. My comments are on the front page.

I love what I am assuming is an AT-AT Breather box on that front chest too with the hoses cut off?

Ray has some photography skills too. It is just so necessary to accurately catalog your custom.

Hey guys

Thanks very much for the kind words :) I was pretty tired when I painted him up...Art it's great as always to see you buddy!

Tamer there was no way on earth I could get that ATAT Driver chest box past you was there lol? As for photography I use a desk lamp, my iPhone and a set of pine bedside drawers!!!

Merc the neck post join is covered partially by the armour - but it is an awesome piece of articulation!

LOL. I would probably recognize that anywhere, but it worked so well here for him. I would have never thought to use that on a Starkiller.

Wow, you are gonna love the Force Unleashed then. Its a great EU series. Galen Marek (Starkiller) is the central character. He was a youngling rescued by Vader (well not killed) during Vader's Jedi Purge on Kashyyyk and raised to eventually take out the Emperor before Vader discovered Luke I do believe. I am actually just now getting through the first video game which is fun.

Ray, this is a great Starkiller! Love the design of the character/pilot look. Great job building up parts/technology that could pass for an actual design in the game. The paint work is also flawless!
