I really like Jav. The backstory is great, with plenty of believable details (great name, by the way). The character design is excellent and the paint job is really nice. Excellent all the way around.

Thank you all. This one started as a custom for my son since his favorite color is orange.

Dy'en Kotarlis, Zabrak Jedi 7.27.18

Dy'en Kotarlis was a Jedi of the Old Republic, circa 3470 years before the Battle of Yavin. He is on assignment patrolling the Corellian Sector for any Sith spies. The planet Talus, in particular, had recently been dealing with pirate raids on it's southern hemisphere. Many of the victims have no memory of the raids themselves but along with valuables, interesting artifacts were also missing. A Sith talisman, a Sith apprentice ritual blade, A Sith guardsman's helmet, and a Sith holocron were among the stolen items. Museum curators, university professors, and smugglers were among the victems. As Kotarlis investigates, he senses a darkness entering the Corellia Sector.

Now, this custom brings back good memories of KOTOR I & II! This is actually the first Zabrak Jedi I see in 1/18 scale. I really like the design of the costume, the color scheme, especially of the chest and back protector and his skin color! You painted him very well! What would the color of his blade be? And would you share the recipe?

Malrook “Mal” Grep’n of the Old Republic, 9.29.18

Been awhile and here is something that's been on my shelf for some time.
Some Jedi around 3475 years before the Battle of Yavin, still trained with a sword. The lightsaber only came into use in more extreme situations. Others wished to hold onto tradition. Yet, others saw swords and swordsmanship as a lost art. Malrook “Mal” Grep’n was of the latter. Although he saw fit to have the latest technology and vehicles, he considered history and an understanding of the older Jedi ways to be important for the Order to move forward. Often times his training in swordplay and lightsaber use rarely saw combat, as he was more a scholar than warrior. His fighting abilities were never in question, as he helped win many battles. Grep’n just would rather the ancient teachings of past Masters than go on missions. That never stopped the Council from sending their best on dire missions.

Nice job. The design of the figure is excellent and I really like the double sayas on the back, it adds visual interest. Great backstory, too!
