Absolutely!  Already got some wip shots of my civil war era ghost rider on my fb page.

Btw, while I was doing some research I fohnd an article that talked about a female ghost rider character named alejandra blaze....  should check her out.  I plan on doing a custom of her too which will basically be a headswap.

Re: 04/23! NEW! "Skinned" Xenomorph!
« Reply #1010 on: April 23, 2014, 04:09:09 PM »
"Muscle & Bone" Xenomorph.  This is a vintage Kenner "Scorpion" alien, which is based on their appearance in the film "Aliens".  I am a huge fan of the old Kenner sculpts.  They are really detailed and sized just right for 1:18th Colonial Marines to fight.

The idea from this stemmed from a set of Warhammer 40K minis that I came across online.  It's meant to represent a "skinned" Xeno.  And yes, I know enough about Xeno physiology to know that this is not what they would look like inside out, but it looks cool...so there ya go.

Based in flat black, then dry brushed light grey, then again with white and highlighted a very light cream.  The "muscle" was done in maroon, then dry brushed red and then a light pink for highlights.

Thanks for tuning in!

...But is that even his final form?
I have altered the action figure. Pray I don't alter it further.

Re: 05/03! X-Men 90s-style Bishop WIP!
« Reply #1017 on: May 03, 2014, 01:24:59 PM »
Here are some quick pics of a WIP 90s-style Bishop from "X-Men".  He's a Battle-Kata Roadblock body, Thorin head, with hands and weapons from the Parts Bins.  His webgear is handmade (with a sling for his plasma blaster and his belt and holster are kitbashed.  He'll have SFX to represent his power as well.  This body works well to not only to represent his look from the comics, but is big enough to bring him nearly eye-level with the MU Cable.  I've been a fan of Bishop since his premier in the comics, and this is a good opportunity to add him to my 1:18 collection.

His classic look, as seen in his vintage Toy Biz fig.

My interpretation.

My wife was kind enough to point out that "Bishop is a black dude", lol.  He will have correct skin tone once he is finished.  Thanks for tuning in!
