We've seen imperial ladies in the EU, but they tend to be rather high ranking which is surprising given the Empire's sexism. You'd think they'd more often be low level functionaries like this.

While not nearly as common I can see it more in the EU as authors tend to be a bit more "against the grain" then the major holywood producers making movies for general audiences.. I wish we had an Admiral Daala figure and other prominent Imperial women in their prime of course.

That said the custom is awesome. Can you say what body/head you used for it?

oh and hot women fighting for the empire at any rank is approved.

Agreed.
The body is a slightly modified version of Irina Spalko and the head is Juno Eclipse.

I am sorry it has taken me awhile to comment, I am just now starting to get caught up on the custom stuff here and really enjoyed this take on Rex. I really like your story too. What a great photo-novel this would make. Off to share to the front page.

Pretty cool. He looks like Alfred Hitchcock.

Ha! Now there's a better name... some variation of Hitchcock like... Citchhock... I'll work on that.

So I love this sculpey stuff. I was able to make an improved version of Sate Pestage with it. Too bad he and every other EU character I've made may no longer exist...

nice!

The imperial pair... if one is a jumbled hitchcock what would the rather curvey imperial female officers name be I wonder?...hmmm

As for the Sate Pestage ... thats awesome.. I am biased as the Rogue Squadron books were probably my fave next to the thrawn trilogy so seeing him in a good sculpt is awesome.

Loving that Sate Pestage!

I might be remembering wrong, but I thought when they announced what the story group considered canon it included the novelizations of the films. Maybe he still exists.
I dabble in the Star Wars Universe of Toys... I rip apart little plastic people and turn them into other plastic people. Sometimes I take pictures of them and post them.

It's kind of complicated. What they did was separate all the Star Wars EU material into the categories "Canon" and "Legends." Canon is what has basically been stamped and approved by Lucas, and everything else in the Legends category is up in the air. They're sort of saying that they won't erase it from Star Wars history... but it may not have actually happened and is therefore more of a... well, legend.
Frankly, I'm not against them cleaning up the EU. We tend to forget that for every good novel or comic there has been a lot of sub-par, questionable, and occasionally flat out bad stuff put out there. Not gonna name names but FORCE UNLEASHED II... and I'm not so keen on the first one either. As long as the Rogue Squadron, Thrawn Trilogy, basically everything big up to the Yuuzhan Vong invasion I'm in favor of keeping... I have to say after the whole Vong thing started and they started killing off characters just for attention (Chewie, Anakin, Ackbar, Mara, Jacen, etc...) well I say I'm fine with all that being cut out.
We live in an Expanded Universe where Mara Jade dies, but Admiral Daala is still alive... not okay with me.

Strangest custom ever

As a lad of 9, I remember the thing that struck me most about Empire Strikes Back was... Yoda sounds just like Grover!
I give you Master Elmo.
I actually had a bizarre dream in which Vader demands entrance to some imperial prison cell, but the officers protest claiming the most annoying thing in the galaxy is detained within. Then a bizarre little red fuzzy humanoid bursts out and rampages through the base. And I thought huh... looked like Elmo. That'd be kinda funny if I made it into a figure.

Haha awesome! I always knew Elmo was a master of the force! Love this idea, and it's not that far out, as Jim Henson was definitely instrumental in creating Star Wars.

"The Empire has a legion of loyal soldiers that are in endless supply."
"Only Imperial stormtroopers are so precise."
"For the Empire!"
