Battlefront II Figure Set

(1/4) > >>

Tamer:

I really liked this set.

Obi-Sean Kenobi:
loved the clones but the droids were little better than diorama fodder.

DocOutlands:
Y'know, if the Droids set was going to include a Gonk-droid ("ammunition resupply droid"), then the Clones box really should have had an FX-7 droid in it.  We found some of these at TRU this week, and my son griped about how they screwed up some of the clones, giving them the wrong weapons and such.  I looked at him and said, "So be a customizer - buy the box and FIX THEM!"  oops...  I'm his money source.

I got him into customizing interest by starting him out on a collection of Battlefront figs - just what could be assembled with regular carded figs.   I keep showing him pics of customs from here, RebelScum, and ebay.  Yeah...he'll be tweaking figs before long!  He already did the BFII Clone Commander at Christmas, taking a GalMarine and giving him the railgun from the BARC heavy gunner.  So he's in the groove..

I'm sure we'll nab the Clones box at least and *prolly* the droids too.  Eventually.

Clonehead:
I grabbed the clones set as you can tell by my review .
This set is a little pricey and I also have a collection of every style of factory stock clones so, that's where this set went. I would like to find this one on clearance for a low price. You couldn't ask for a better variety of custom fodder.

That's great about you getting your son into the custom game! It keeps me out of trouble "mostly"

Rodger:
Due to money restraints I passed on these. Lucky for me my Boy (13) isn't into SW toys (too much) at this time.

He has though about wore out his BF II X-Box game and his BF II T-Shirt I got on sale at SW.com for $5.

Good thing I got him a second..  Shirt that is !!  :D
