Next is this rare pre-release poster from 1976 these were said to be sold at various conventions to hype the film. Find one now and you scored some serious coin as these move for over 3 grand in good condition

A true rarity with a rumored print run of under 500 with most real printing estimates at half that in the 250-280 range, this poster only went out to a few theaters that were still showing Star Wars a year after it's initial release, thus called the birthday cake poster. Value can be as high as 5 grand depending on condition and market conditions.

It's so neat to see these kinds of things, images I'd long forgotten.  Whenever I'm at a show of any kind, or memorabilia store, I always look for a "Revenge of the Jedi" poster in decent shape.  Have yet to find one I'm willing to pay for yet.

Here is the second Revenge design from 1982, an orignial in good shape will fetch over a thousand buck, but watch for counterfits.
